Dinko Neskusil

    Award-winning Karlovac photographer, president of the Karlovac Photo Club, the Grand Prix winner of Salon Vinkovci, first prize at Photodays in Rovinj, photos published in a series of newspapers and magazines. At Youth Photo Week, Dinko will be exhibiting photographs from the 1930s as well as have a role in the jury.

    Born in Karlovac in 1966, he graduated from the Gymnasium, working in the Karlovački tjednik from 1991-1995 as a war photographer, and from 1996 as a graphic editor (today’s Karlovački).

    He held several independent photo exhibitions (the first in February 1992 – Karlovac war days) and participated in a number of group exhibitions.

    Winner of several photography awards – Grand Prix of Salon Vinkovci, first prize at Photodays in Rovinj, photos published in a series of newspapers and magazines, illustrated various books, calendars and brochures.

    Dinko created a photomonography on the Homeland War (awarded with the Oluja medal and Homeland War testimorial.

    Year-long vice president of the Karlovac Photo Club, and now president of the Photo Club.

    He held a series of workshops for students in primary schools on photography – analog and digital.

    For the kafotka.net project, he was awarded the Karlovac plaque.
