What is Youth Photo Week?

Youth Photo Week proved itself as one of the largest events for young photographers in Croatia and the surrounding region. This is a unique project that promotes tourism potentials and beauties of Croatia through the art of photography, and also informs and educates young photographers and introduces them to the Croatian natural and cultural heritage, and various types of art. Youth Photo Week provides the young people with an opportunity for recognition, training, and competition, and provides the hosting city a full range of accompanying cultural events such as concerts, film screenings and exhibitions. The festival is held every year in a different city, and in its six years it has visited Kutina, Veli Losinj, Zadar, Pula and Karlovac twice. So far, the program involved more than 300 young photographers, and the organizers and participants receive many awards for their work and are a significant part of the regional cultural scene.
